Alternator wiring harness

     Hey All,
     
     I just had to have my alternator wiring harness replaced at 93K miles. 
      That was $150 I could've spent elsewhere on my car.  The Dealer says 
     they have seen a lot of these go bad on '94 & '95s from too much heat 
     exposure in the engine room.  I asked if there was a recall or 
     technical service bulletin, but they said no.  Has anyone else heard 
     of this?  Sounds like a design flaw to me.
