Just an FYI for anyone waiting for a 1999 Passat Syncro...

Beetle Buzz contacted Volkswagen Of America today regarding the 
Syncro cancellation and the rumors are true. Spokesperson Tony 
Fouladpour stated, however, that an all-wheel-drive Passat will be 
available in 2000 with the sophisticated 4Motion system.
