RE: A few simple questions

I would simply suggest just replacing the head unit. I did 2 weeks after
purchase, when I found out how much a 6 disc changer was, I opted for a
Alpine Head unit cassette/Cd Changer Control, and a 12 disc alpine changer
cost $600.00 installed. Advantage $100 over what the dealer wanted for a 6
disc. OTHER BIG Advantage: NIGHT AND DAY Difference in sound quality. The
stock unit just doesn't give the amp and stock speakers credit, it sounds
great I turn it up to about 20 on the alpine dial of course bass is set to
"-2" and everything else is even. Sounds great..I am planning on keeping the
speakers and amp for a LONG time, I am adding a additional Amp and Sub for
some more low end and with LPL you are able to do that very easy..
