Re: hard water spots

I guess it depends on how bad the spotting is.

I always have spotting after washing & drying my car. It's hard not to with
the sun's intensity in southern Texas. My GLX is dark green. It is the
first dark colored car I have ever owned, & it shows water spots worse than
any other car I have owned. I found this very annoying.

I was able to get rid of the spots by using Meguiar's Quik Detailer after
washing & drying the car. You simply spray the product on the car, spread
it with one cloth, & then wipe it off with another. Meguiar's pitches it as
a quick & easy polish to be used between waxing. I can't say for sure
whether it makes the paint shine any more than washing alone, but it easily
removed every water spot from the car. It took about 30 minutes to go over
the entire car with this stuff. If you decide to try it, be aware that you
are not supposed to let it dry on the car as you would some waxes.

Hope this helps.
