Re: automatic sunroof/ kinda
I have a Vento VR6 (European equivalent of the GLX).
My roof and windows always close using the key in the "total closure"
position.
I also have a Thatcham approved alarm which also operates the "total
closure" system.
I spoke to the engineer who installed the alarm, and according to him the
system works
on a negative loop circuit. I don't know if this true or not.
My key will both total open and total close. I kinda reckon that what he
says is true, if my alarm is
triggered and I silence it the doors do not open, and the system will auto
re-arm.
Similarly if I open the boot (oops sorry I mean Trunk) but do not open any
door, therefore only
operating the Trunk light but not interior lights the system will auto
rearm.
I hope this is of some help Chris, although there may be variations to the
European model.
See ya...
