Re: help w/ chips



I would definitely also look into the Autotech Q-chip, I have been really happy 
with mine.  I used to have the P-chip and I like the Q-chip better.  As far as 
the Garrett Chip goes I have no experience but many onthe list seem to really 
like it however there are no dyno results to show how it stacks up to the 
others.

Hiya Chris.  I have a 97 GLX like you.  No the chip is NOT soldered in.  
You just pop it out and pop the new one in.  As far as chips are 
concerned I would consider the following two ONLY.
     
1.  P-Chip.  This is what I have and I like it.  Much better than stock.
     
2.  Garrett Chip.  From everything that everyone has told me this chip 
just totally rocks.
     
Note:  In the next few days a list member is comparing the stock chip, 
to the garrett chip, to the p-chip.  We will see what the results are.
