This crap has been floating around Usenet and e-mail lists for a few
years.  One of the first times I saw it, it included a phone number
claiming to be the American Cancer Society.  At that time, some people
actually checked out the story with the American Cancer Society, who
knew nothing about it.  The phone number was supposedly just someone
asking for your credit card number.

Long rant made short, please don't bother us with this type of stuff.
If you want to help someone, contact a local, legitimate agency and
ask what you can do.
