Factory CD changer

I am new to this list so bear with me.  My brother (97 GLX owner) had a
question about CD changers for his car.  He has the factory stereo
system in his Jetta (Bose) and would like to purchase a factory
changer.  He has been canvasing the VW dealers in his area (Portland)
and has been quoted various prices.  Does anyone know of any dealers in
either Oregon or California who will sell the factory changer for less
than $600?
