Warming Up

I keep it below 3k and above 2k until it is warmed up (needle sticking 
straight up and oil temp at 190 or so).  Then I give it a blast up to 5k 
or so (gotta make sure everything is running okay right?)...The rest of 
the day the engine rarely sees higher than 4k...Most of the time 2.8 to 
3k is where I shift.
