RE: Strange "whirring" sound

Haven't had my trans fluid checked yet-I've noticed the sound ever since   
I got the car (I'm the original owner). Shifting feels fine, though. The   
noise isn't all that loud, just noticeable. Other passengers don't detect   
the noise. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I'll have it checked out anyway.   
Thanks for the info.
BTW, I can hear the noise in every gear-any thoughts there?

Last time I heard that noise my fifth gear dropped out on my transmission
before
I could figure out what it was.  How's your tranny fluid level?  How's   
your
tranny
been working?
