     It is not smart to use stock springs when upgrading to higher 
     performance struts and shocks.  If you want to retain the stock ride 
     height I would suggest going with the neuspeed SoftSport springs, they 
     retain stock height (maybe lowering 0.5") and have a greater spring 
     rate.  They are also progressive, to retain smooth ride but stiffen 
     when pushed ie. in the twisties.

What about:  Stock springs/spring height with Koni/Bilstein/Spax 
shocks/struts.  Here in Texas some of our streets and driveways are not 
kind to lowered cars.  I would like to retain the stock height, but add 
firmer rebound control.
