VW splash guards/SPAX Kit?

I was dreaming about the SPAX kit this weekend.....

I have the VW splash guards and I thought that a 60mm drop may result
in the guards kissing the pavement when I hit potholes, speedbumps, or
even make agressive turns.  Anyone with the SPAX kit or other
suspension setups have trouble with the splash guards?  I don' t want
to remove them as I have found them invaluable keeping road debris
from the sides of the car.  I could get a 30mm drop but does it 
look as good as the 60mm?

Advice needed....
