Re: factory stereo sys on GLX

We just took delivery (3 weeks ago) of our Sequoia Green GLX and it has the
Bose system. As a burned out audiophile I found the system to be quite
acceptable. Clean, clear mids and crisp highs with just a bit of bloat in
the upper midbass.....but again.....quite listenable and enjoyable. I
couldn't find any reason to sink more money into upgrading, especialy
considering the road/wind noise in any car will certainly mask the virtues
of even the highest quality audio system. Now if you do your listening
while the car is stopped without the motor running....that's a whole
'nother story. By the way...the CD changers that use FM to send the info to
your system are much inferior to those which employ a direct connection to
your front end....even going 90MPH with all the windows open.
