On the Hunter front, you have to see how teams are backing way off of him and
clogging up the lane. Those were two serious bricks that Hunter put up from
the free throw line. I don't know, guys. Hunter has to improve his shooting to
be a legitimate player. That may never happen. He has shown he can play the D
and rebound.

Which is the point Carroll has made about why he's not playing him -including the fact that it's not just what he does himself on offense, but how other teams treat him affecting the play of others. His offense and his not accurate awareness of what he could and really couldn't do were a clear negative with him way back in summer league, when I was really impressed and hoped they'd sign him regardless. However, in fairness to Hunter I also have little doubt about it getting fixed because of his intensity and drive.

BTW, he and Marcus seem to have a real personal connection with each other. One of the more lighthearted fun moments at a Cs game lately was he and Marcus laughing at each other as they played some one-on-one during the pregame shootaround Monday. Hunter of course tried to back Marcus in towards the hoop with his body, but Marcus wasn't giving ground readily... A pair of tough kids.

Mihm isn't looking that good lately, though getting limited minutes. He has
seemed to have regressed from his earlier play. I think his head is screwed up.
We read in the papers today that Mihm refused to play garbage time against
the Spurs after he had Mihminal time and it was obvious to all we needed some
strength at the power forward spot that night. I think Mihm has the goods and we
will see a lot of him next year with a different coach and system. Hold on,
Chris, until next year....

Or don't bother. WHERE on earth does he get off refusing to go into any game at any point? And then brushing it off after as not that big a deal per the same article. This isn't an 18 year old inexperienced child with some excuse for behaving like a 10 year old or a superstar who has reason to feel he's 'well past that point'. Not that either should show up their coach that way (note that the article reports he apologized to his teammates after, but no mention of his doing so to the coaches), but at least they have more excuse.
