RE: random things make you say Hmmmm

Ravi, If Pierce wasn't 2nd on the team individually and aprox 25% of each
games assists along with being 2nd on the team in rebounding while also
drawing the most defensive pressure from the other team, I would worry about
him not being able to sublimate his ego. But he is. I believe Pierce is a
team player all the way. Sure he has an ego, the best do. Give him a system
to play in. Give him some teammates who can play ball, like Atkins and
Welsch for example. Give him a teammate who draws a double team.

Yes he over-dribbles and I yell for him to pass when he brings it up the
court instead of giving it to the PG, but when the money is on the table all
of his teammates want him to shoot the ball. He is a smart player with
great shooting skill, very good rebounding ability and better then average
passing skill. If your question is when does he get "smarter", it happens
as the team around him gets better. He can do everything possible to make
teammates better, but that doesn't mean they are up to the task, yet.
