I'll disagree and say Banks has too many gifts and will become as good
as other top eastern guards and will turn out better than most of this
years rookie pg's.  He just needs some years under his belt.  Chauncey
was a low IQ pg with physical gifts as a rook.  He learned
poise/control, and now I'd put him right next to Marbury and Baron, with
the way he effortlessly abuses the Celtics.

We're already beating the teams with your listed "better pg's" (using
our good Journeyman pg).  And Banks will certainly become more dangerous
than Chucky.  He's already settling down with his decision making, and
shows flashes of penetration/dishing like TJ.  He'll bypass Ford.

None of Marcus' more intelligent pg peers like TJ, Hinrich, Ridnour,
Blake, Raul Lopez, have his combo of dunking, strength, speed, defensive
intensity, pull up jumpshots.  For sure Jameer Nelson doesn't have that
level of physical skills (I've seen St Joe's play).
  
I'd say in two years Banks will be a scary scorer/disher like Chauncey
who can isolate and get his shot off whenever he wants.  The other lower
upside rooks, probably won't be the matchup problem that Marcus will be
in his prime.
