James, no. Banks, potentially. Not in a pure sense, of course, but he can see
the floor and dish it off when he's not overwhelmed but all that's going around
him. However, there are parts to an NBA point guard's job besides having court
vision,  that are quite important. Things like being able to guard small, very
fast and explosive PGs and being able to bring the ball up under intense
pressure. If you look at the rookie PGs this year, they're all incomplete in
some way (Hinrich is perhaps the least so, and even he's not setting the league
on fire). Banks's shortcomings are certainly not fatal, and his assets
(incredible speed and athleticism) can't be taught.
