Who should coach?

What about bringing the cooz out of retirement and giving him heinsohn
and dave cowens?

I'm kidding, sort of. All depends on what the brain doctor thinks I
guess.

I would really like to see a young innovative coach. Who that is, I
have no idea but I don't want an nba retread. There have to be some
good assistants out there waiting for a chance. Is it too much to ask
for a coach who understands both offense and defense?

This was the response to a question on ESPN's website. There were
22,741
voters.

14) Whom should Ainge hire to replace O'Brien?

20.0% Byron Scott

18.2% Someone else

15.2% Dennis Johnson

15.0% George Karl

13.2% Doc Rivers

12.2% Mike Fratello

3.2% Doug Collins

3.1% Danny Ainge

The top choice was Byron Scott? It just shows that at least 20% of
"fans"
have their head positioned in a dark recess.

My goodness. Byron Scott? Haven't any of these 4,548 people ever heard
of
Celtics/Lakers when Scott played? Did they even know he did play? Wow.
