Re: caution on Felton

Let's see Sean,

- Can't say I followed Banks too much, was a Ridnour - TJ Ford fan
with a side order of Hinrich.

- I think Felton could be a terrific PG, sort of a taller TJ Ford, but NBA teams
are leery of 6-0 PGs who can't shoot.

- Devin Harris, not sure that he's a PG, maybe will be a Gilbert Arenas type.
He's quite a good player though.

- Gordon from UConn: He could be a Joe Dumars type.

- Shaun Livingston: Teams are intrigued by what he may be (which isn't a given),
than what he is.

- If Ainge is planning on Barry, then drafting another PG doesn't make a lot of
sense. Plus, Ainge is going to go out of his way to salvage Banks.

- And Felton is definitely better than Banks - then again, so are lots of
other PGs at the moment.

He is as good a dribbler and penetrator and passer as there is in the college game, but UNC has lost too many close games. Maybe he will mature and be a first rate pro, but I have a few doubts at present. He's better than Banks right now, but he's just as short and not quite as fast. I'm a big Tarheel fan, so I see them often on the tube. Just concerned about him right now. OTOH, May has great skills at PF. Cheers, Gene
