Just for the record, Larry would be wrong.  About 6 or 7 years ago Texas Tech 
had a number of players (3?) pulled in the middle of a Big 12 Tournament game 
because it was discovered they weren't academically eligible to play.  They 
ended up forfeiting some game they played in and were sanctioned by the NCAA.
