I'm confused, I have read articles on four different sites on this trade and
no where does it mention anything about Mills. Is it possible that we just
traded James? Has anyone seen any reference to Mills inclusion?????

This is Ainge's first failure. It's not that this trade hurts the Celtics.
It really doesn't. Atkins-James is a wash on the court. But you're buying a
late first-rounder for $5.5 million (the total for the two years left on
Atkins' contract, minus the cash the Celtics get).
That's too much. I understand buying the draft pick, but this is too much to
pay for a late first-round draft pick. Yes, the Celtics now have three
first-rounders, but it's not like any of them are that great. I just don't
get it. It's a nothing move. The Mills contract was too much of an asset to
come away with nothing but a late first-rounder.



Just really disappointing.
