This trade scares me too

This trade also really scares me. You get the rebounder and chemistry guy
that supposedly we don't have. Rose leading the second unit and practically
playing center impressed me in the playoffs. But I thought they way overpaid when
the Spurs signed him to a longterm MLE money. Now the Spurs would be doing to
the Cs what the Cs used to do during their heyday, shell off overchievers to
worst teams. If the Spurs ponied up two no. 1s, which they have this years due
to the Barbosa trade last year, I could do it. The Spurs would be in awesome
cap shape going down to 27 million in committed money next year. Rose is
totally "in the doghouse now" playing only around 20 total minutes in the last 5
games with at two DNPs. If he isn't good enough to play for the Spurs, why is he
could enough to play for the Cs? Never trade in desperation, Danny (although I
also think this one was leaked by Danny to get the Suns or GS to come to the
table)....

<It will take a lot for the Celtics to find their way back to playoff
contention. It will take even more if director of basketball operations Danny Ainge
pulls off another trade before Thursday's deadline. The latest rumor making the
rounds is Jones and Chris Mills to San Antonio for Malik Rose and possibly a
draft pick.>
