I will not argue this point beyond the following, since all of it
is repetitive.

Ainge, having hired Obie, did everything he could to undermine him,
publicly and privately.  At the point when he informed Obie he was
about to remove Harter, and Wallace sat by saying nothing, Obie
finally told Danny he would not coach another year but would stick
it out till April.  Ainge then told Obie it would be best if he left
immediately. Both men left the meeting in shock over what had just
transpired.

Carroll does not command enough respect from his players to overcome
their dislike of Ainge.  It is a lost season.
