Re: ProJo's Bill Reynolds on the C's

It seems Vin can't decide himself whether he suffers from depression. He
told Hughes a year ago that he did. Supposedly considered writing a book about it
last winter. He told reporters during the '98-'99 season that his weight
gain was due to medication for depression and paranoia. Then he swears to Shira
Springer just last week that he never suffered from depression.
One has to wonder if the book idea was before or after the February 27th
suspension. Was it before or after his month long stint in rehab?
If it was after that would put it in April, which is spring, not winter.
If it was before than he wasn't in complete denial about his problem before
the suspension and forced rehab like we have been told.
Any one else confused?
You want to root for him because he seems so sincere, so polite, so humble.
Is Vin Baker the most lovable con man ever?
Is it any wonder some are hesitant to believe him or anything positive
written about him?
