If they can can convince Golden State
to do the proposed Van Exel trade, which at last
report was Thomas and Ward for Van Exel.

A Knick starting lineup of Van Exel, Houston,
Van Horn, McDyess, and Lampe would be an offensive
juggernaut.

A few ifs there however.

If Van Exel is acquired, if
McDyess is healthy, if Lampe can play right away.

Still, if the Knicks can pull everything together, they should
be a playoff team.

Just points out the need for the Celtics to be better, as the
the other EC teams seem to be improving.
