RE: And Now For The Negativity

All good points, Ray, but where's the negativity? We all know we won't go
82-0, nothing negative there. All I see is a few valid what-ifs. What if
Perkins steps up and Vin holds up? In the best of all possible worlds, Vin
is a 20-10 guy by Christmas. He's done it before.

FWIW, I have enjoyed your posts over the last while (one of the few ;). When
the team stunk you said they stunk. You were right. Danny is not perfect,
but he has done a great job with the cards he was holding. For now he should
get nothing but props. If he does something stupid, hey, let's bash him. I
agree with you about Superstar Luke, I wish we could have got him,
but what we got looks OK so far.

Subject: And Now For The Negativity

- A tired Miami team sans its two best players is a very bad club, so it's
real hard
to determine anything conclusive from the game, or in fact, any of the
post-Toine
contests so far, as the Celtics have faced depleted teams. Memphis on the
road (and
where else would Memphis be) will be more of a measuring-up type of game,
with the C's frontcourters having to contend with a scoring big man
in the Great Gasoool and the naive PGs dealing with Williams. And then
there's
the Grizzlies' depth.

- Kedrick Brown in French means Boris Diaw, sans the passing skills.
No one should have a problem if Ainge includes him in a deal, and I can
see why they prefer James to him.

- Yes, by all means trade Battie, as Perkins is apparently ready for
a thing called love, no, actually ready to contribute this season,
and for that to happen, one of the Big Four have to depart.

- Haaahh, the "Big Four!" Can I copyright that?

- Will see how long Vin Baker can hold up. Sure, right now, things
are fine and dandy, everything is fresh and new, but when the long and
winding road kicks in, and Vin has a few bad games, will his confidence
 survive the hit?
