Re: Kedrick?
>>Not to be negative after a great start by the Celts ... but where did
Kedrick
disappear to after a great preseason? All I saw was the first quarter, when he
sulked back to the bench apparently devastated because he missed TWO shots.<<
I know that's what either Tommy or Mike said, but I think the real reason he
was upset was because he had just picked up a cheap foul, his second, and had
to go to the bench.
In Kedricks defense, he could have had at least two more easy baskets if
Marcus Banks had been distributing the ball on the break correctly.
But the thing that got me with Kedrick tonight was how passive he was
compared to the preseason and how lackadaisical he appeared on defense, even though
Eddie Jones was having a field day.
Loved the way all our big men played. Running the floor, blocking shots,
rebounding, 16 of 24 from the floor (39 pts), great passing, working together
beautifully on defense. The best thing was when Baker and Blount went out, Raef
and Tony came in and didn't miss a beat.
It is a wonderful advantage to have.
