If Ainge trades Williams, there goes the spiritual leader of the old 
regime.  Williams is after all, our best clubhouse guy and Obie's floor 
general, at least on defense. His personality makes him worth much 
more to the Celts than to other teams. And he is adaptable, not a 
foolish person like Toine.  Trade him, and you would REALLY have to 
question why Obie was even being retained at that point. In fact, I
wonder that now.

As for Battie, he would be much less of a spiritual loss, although he
and Williams are both good examples for the new guys.   But medical 
uncertainty concerning his knee continues to put a damper on receiving 
back full value.  Once he shows he is 100% recovered, his stock will rise.
