Re: Chad Ford Talks Battie Trade

For anyone who thinks that even minor mistakes have been made with the
handling of the personnel on this team, bringing in Sheed would be the
biggest mistake ever made. For those who don't live in the Portland market,
you don't read 1/10 the crap that we do out here. Sheed was reported to
have pushed off a kid in a Hawaii airport this summer. The reporting of
that event hasn't gone national but after his recent traffic event a few
weeks ago, and the fall out from the Damon pot event, Sheed is probably
worth less to the NBA than apparently Antoine was, and has the biggest boat
anchor contract to boot, regardless of how many years are left.

Bring Damon too and get a starting PG. Do a 3 way and get Spreewell, Rider
and bring Rodman back while you are at. Reading stats and seeing ESPN
highlight reels doesn't always tell the story. I am blown away that anyone
here with any cred, with all due respect, could imagine wanting Sheed. Why
not get cheerleaders and change the uni color to black and white right now,
because the Green would be dead for all practical purposes.

I respect Danny, an Oregon guy, and even he isn't stupid enough to want
Sheed, given the basic reasons why he got rid of Walker.

Brainstorm all you want GM wannabees but you can do better than a deal
including Wallace.

Get back to work.
