Well, no, LaFrentz's game is nothing like Antoine's. Aside from that, you're forgetting (along with most of the all the non-Boston writers) the addition by subtraction part of Antoine's game. He takes over 20 shots a game and makes only a few of them. That's a bunch of shots that somebody else could take who would make *more* than a few of them. I laughed when I saw the writers rub their hands with glee at the thought of adding another 20+ ppg scorer to Dallas. Antoine needs 30 shots to get that done. If he takes 30 shots in the Dallas offense, their team point production goes south (not to mention their chemistry). If he doesn't, he's not adding that many points to the Dallas offense. He'll be great with them if he passes and takes and makes selective shots.

So basically, LaFrentz's game is JUST like Antoine Walker's.  He's just not
as good at it as Walker is.  But on the upside, he IS under contract for a
while yet.  Great.
