Did anyone see Karl Malone last night? (rhetorical question, I know). He looked
great. Rebounding, running the floor hard, finishing on the break, and doing a
Larry Bird impersonation with his touch passing. Nearly had a triple-double.
He's better at 40 than Antoine will ever be. Has there ever been a better
40-year-old player? Payton also looked good. If that's how they're going to
share the ball, it's going to be scary. They don't even need Kobe (who eschews
the triangle offense and wants to do his own thing). Oh, and Luke Walton is
already a huge crowd favorite.
