Who are the proven running guys out there?
Any thoughts?  Is Doc Rivers an option?
What about Scott Skiles or DJ?  If we are
replacing Obie we need someone as fair,
impartial, and trustworthy as Obie to replace
him -- no prima donnas, first-time coaches,
or "prussian generals."  Ideally it should be
someone from inside the Celtics family.
I wonder if it wouldn't be too crazy to take
a page from the Jerry West playbook and hire
someone really old-school to coach the team --
maybe someone from the 60s / 70s running
years.

Someone like Dave Cowens.
