Antawn Jamison had a season-best 26 points, and Steve Nash added 18 points and
eight assists for Dallas.

Dirk Nowitzki recovered from a 3-point first half to score 19 points and
collect 11 rebounds to help the Mavericks win their third straight and fifth
in six games.

Walker also had 14 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 blocked shots.

Andre Miller had 22 points and Jon Barry 20 for the Nuggets, who had won four
of their previous five.

Rookie Carmelo Anthony, who had 14 points at halftime, finished with 16 points
and 10 rebounds for Denver.

Raptors 81, Nets 80 -- Morris Peterson's free throw with 0.8 seconds left in
East Rutherford, N.J., gave Toronto the victory over New Jersey, which was
without Jason Kidd (sore left knee). The Raptors let a double-digit lead
evaporate but recovered for their first road win in six tries this season.

Vince Carter finished with 21 points and nine assists, and he beat Kenyon
Martin on a jump ball with 3.1 seconds to play.

Hawks 92, Cavaliers 83 -- Shareef Abdur-Rahim scored 26 points, the Hawks held
LeBron James to 3-for-16 shooting and Atlanta sent Cleveland to its 29th
straight road loss. Jason Terry added 19 points for the Hawks, who had lost
three of four.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Cavaliers, who
fell to 0-8 away from home.

Knicks 99, 76ers 88 -- Shandon Anderson replaced the injured Allan Houston in
the starting lineup and scored 20 points in New York's victory over visiting
Philadelphia. Anderson reached 20 points for only the fourth time in his three
seasons with the Knicks, providing a much-needed offensive boost on a night
when Keith Van Horn also sat out because of an injury.

Timberwolves 103, Clippers 91 -- Kevin Garnett scored a season-high 30 points
and grabbed 19 rebounds, and host Minnesota overcame an impressive performance
by Quentin Richardson to beat Los Angeles. Richardson led the Clippers with a
career-high 36 points on 12-for-19 shooting to keep Los Angeles within
striking distance.

Suns 100, Heat 98 -- Amare Stoudemire scored 24 points and Joe Johnson hit
three key 3-pointers to help Phoenix win its third straight game, over
road-weary Miami. It was the first time this season the Suns scored 100 points
after setting a franchise record by going their first 11 games without
reaching triple-digits in points.
