Re: What About Wells?

Wells and Dale Davis...I'd consider. Seems like rebounding is a large concern
now obviously.

McInnis will be like a Mike James already so we might not actually need to get
him.

Just my thoughts...

  Subject: What About Wells?

What about rading for Wells, seems to be having problems in Portlnad. We
trade Battie and Williams for Wells and McInnis. Gives us 3ed scorer and
depth at
PG. We move Pierce to SF and Wells at SG. Gives Protland some depth at C/PF
in
case they move Rasheed. What you guys think of this.-Tony

Portland trades: PG Jeff McInnis(10.8 ppg, 1.5 rpg, 4.2 apg in 25.6 minutes)
SG Bonzi Wells(14.0 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 3.1 apg in 35.0 minutes)
Portland receives: C Tony Battie(5.9 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 1.1 apg in 20.7 minutes)
SF Eric Williams(12.7 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 0.6 apg in 23.0 minutes)
Change in team outlook: -6.2 ppg, +3.2 rpg, and -5.6 apg.

Boston trades: C Tony Battie(5.9 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 1.1 apg in 20.7 minutes)
SF Eric Williams(12.7 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 0.6 apg in 23.0 minutes)
Boston receives: PG Jeff McInnis(10.8 ppg, 1.5 rpg, 4.2 apg in 10 games)
SG Bonzi Wells(14.0 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 3.1 apg in 10 games)
Change in team outlook: +6.2 ppg, -3.2 rpg, and +5.6 apg.

  TRADE ACCEPTED
Due to Portland and Boston being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is
invoked.
Portland and Boston had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary
given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade
satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
