Re: Mavs now Twan's team....Blazers could be Twan's team

Talk in Portland early this morning was a trade involving Rasheed Wallace
and others to Dallas primarily for Walker. Word on the radio after it broke
on TV was that Dallas and Nellie had already determined that Walker was NOT
going to help this team and that maybe just maybe the lack of leadership on
the part of Wallace could help him to fit in with a team that, as per the
local talking head, was filled with enough true leaders and certainly too
many big scorers. Wallace would love nothing more than to be able to put in
30 minutes tops and be off the hook for any true expectation of leadership
and for taking the game winning shot.........ever.

This deal is serious enough that the Blazers had to issue a statement that
there was no truth to the rumor, meaning it probably with happen in
Blazerland logic.

So much for the chance of the new Black and White Celtics getting Rashweed
and Toker in a trade for whatever. Damn there goes #17 just when we had it
in our grasp.

Thanks all,
Greg
