Irony of Billups and Bryant

It bothers me that list members are now saying this morning, and the
past few days, how much they'd love it if Chauncey were still on the
team, while they've also said they want no part of Kobe Bryant/rapists
on the team. Especially members who seem morally strict like Snoop.

Ron and Chauncey were accused of raping a woman, admitted wrongdoing,
and settled with her for an undisclosed sum. Guys like Mercer/Billups,
Rueben Patterson, seem to have gotten a lot of slack from the press and
fans compared to Bryant, when Bryant is the only one of the three that
is possibly innocent of the terrible crime.

On the subject of point guards lighting us up... I think Bremer could
have put up James's numbers this year but with some lockdown defense.
JR would have competed against Chauncey and Baron Davis on D instead of
letting them go for near 100% on threes. He had a chip on his shoulder
and played physical. If James/Banks can't stop the three pointer now,
they won't be able to stop it in the playoffs. It's not a matter of
practice and being a new team on defense, it's just that their man to
man defense is bad.

I'd prefer not to have any rapists on our team.
