Miami reasoning

I was thinking the same thing. With Riley's reluctance to play
rookies (this past year notwithstanding) how about

Brian Grant + 5th pick for Walker & 20th Pick

and then (since I'm none too excited about TJ Ford)

the #5 & #16 pick to Denver for the 3rd Pick (probalby Carmello Anthony)

I doubt Denver would do that but they do still get to add a very good
player @ #5 and maybe make a reach at #16 for another foriegn player.

Didn't bother to even talk about this silly trade that I was
proposing. I've long been a Brian Grant fan b/c he's a durable, hard
worker on the glass and a guy who doesn't complain if he's not
scoring 25 points a game. You know what you're getting with him.

Denver has a developing Rodney White at the 2 and N. Tsitviliz (sp?)
at the 3 with Camby & Hilario at the 4/5. They could still nab Bosch
or Kaman with the 5th pick and "invest" the 16th pick.

This fantasy scenario would leave us with a lineup of:

Bremer
Pierce
Anthony
Grant
Battie

Unlike JJohnson, Anthony could start right away and would be
surrounded by veterans to help with being eased into the game. It
would allow Delk & EWilliams to come off the bench where I think they
are both better suited anyways.

EWill
Delk
K. Brown
Blount
McCarty
Sundov
Baker

I'm really intrigued also by Barbosa (if that's how you say his name)
and the Greek Shaq, Sofaklis Schortsanitis -- although for probably
the same reasons I was hoping we'd draft Diop in 2001.
