Here's How The Draft Works For The Celtics - Part I

Toss out every mock draft that you see on the Internet
and the players they have the Celtics choosing.

If Danny Ainge is the real deal, he'll be getting jiggy with a
bifurcated approach to the Celtics needs in this off season,
and will see the draft -- correctly -- as a draft
of futures: player either via their contribution to the
team or trade value, will help the Celtics two to three
years in the future.

And it's the proper approach, thanks to the general dynamics of
the present team. With Satan and his minion -- Walker and
O'Brien -- running the show, drafting for need and selecting a
young complete point guard like Ridnour or the guy from Kansas
does not make a lot of sense, as they both will be manipulated
into subserviance by the Walker - O'Brien stranglehold.

Instead, the acquisition of a quality PG will have to be solved via
a trade for a veteran guard like Andre Miller or Van Exel, two players
with enough status and moxie to resist the Walker - O'Brien
manipulations. And Danny Ainge can further this approach,
by announcing after the trade, that said point guard will be
running the offense, cleansing away forever the flawed O'Brien -
Walker defacto point guard nonsense.
