Re: Ainge

Well, I have to say this. You people came up with the scenario that
Walker tells Obie what to do - and said it so much you believed it. Where is
the proof of that?

The proof is in every videotape of a Celtics game coached by Obie.

Danny Ainge is not a wimp, he'll do whatever he thinks he
should do and not what anyone else thinks. He's just barely started the job
and will make his own decisions. I don't think he's someone who takes kindly
to being told what to do.

Let's hope he doesn't take kindly to Toine's telling the whole wide world that
"the rebuilding is over". He doesn't just tell Obie what to do; he tries to
tell the management and the ownership what to do.

I believe you'll see Antoine playing a different game next year - why not
give Danny a chance? He'll get it done. The one who needs to be let go in my
opinion is Wallace. Why any other team wants him is a mystery to me, but I
hope to heaven one of them gets him.
I also believe we'll see a good point guard and a real center - I saw
every game Danny played for the Celts - he's feisty and nobody will be telling
him what to do. If he's in charge, he'll be in charge. Give him and the team
a chance - please?

What other choice do we have? At least we're not stuck with Wallace calling the
shots (for Baker from the bar). I really hope you're right and Ainge is as
independent as you say he is.
