Dallas Mavericks 7-footer Dirk Nowitzki might be the best-shooting really 
tall NBA player since Bob McAdoo 30 years ago. 

Hard to believe the Milwaukee Bucks drafted him No. 9 overall in 1998 and 
promptly packaged Nowitzki and Pat Garrity (the No. 19 overall pick in that 
draft) to Dallas for Robert Traylor (the No. 6 overall pick in that draft).
