Well The Good News.....

The Celtics draft choice is ever increasing in value. Right
now it rests at 16; the Philly pick is circa 22. A few more strategic
losses and it shouldn't be too difficult to trade up into the
lottery. Perhaps a deal for Atlanta's pick via Milwaukee at 8,
or the knicks at 10.

Or maybe the Clippers choice at 5. If the C's offer the Clipps:
Brown, the two first-rounders, use the $2 million trading exception,
and toss in $3 million cash, the Clippers could be interested. They
love draft choices, young players, cash, and cap space.

Let's see at 5, you'd be looking at Chris Kaman, TJ Ford, perhaps
Carmello Anthony if Bosh and Okafor enter the draft, Anderson Varejao,
the 7-3 South Korean center, Kosta Perovic, Pavel Podkolzen, Tiago
Splitter,
Maciej Lempe, Leandro Barboza.....
