NBA Draft - Seal Of Approval Players

The following players -- possibly to likely -- entering the upcoming
draft, have my Seal of Approval to be chosen by the Celtics,
whether they keep the two picks or make a big deal to move up.

And just a reminder: past Seal of Approval nominees have included Pau
Gasol,
Tony Parker, Troy Murphy, Joe Forte {So who knew he was going to act
like an A-O}, and Jason Richardson.

The Present Nominees:

Chris Kaman - C - Central Michigan - No one except moi seems to
even mention his name, but this Jack Sikma for the New Millenium
gives you the four things you want out
of a center: Low Post Scoring, Rebounding, Shot-Blocking, and
height. Needs some work on his hands, not his stats however: 39 pts.,
23 rbs., and 3 blks. in his last game.

TJ Ford - PG - Texas - One of the purest PGs to ever come along.
Outstanding court vision, quickness, passing abilty, and leadership.
Even if he's anywhere from 5-7 to 5-11, this hybrid of Calvin Murphy,
Tiny Archibald, and Isiah Thomas should be running the Celtics.

Antoine Wright - SF - Texas A & M - What's better than having
one Paul Pierce? Well, two of them! And that's what his Pierce clone
offers.
Certainly an improvement over Erik Williams and Kedrik Brown,
he'd be a great addition to the team in time, as he's only a freshman.

Kendrick Perkins - C - Ozen HS - More mature and with a better
offensive game than Eddy Curry. Size seems to fluctuate,
but definitely a chance to be an impact Big Man down the line.
Just needs to be with a coach capable of developing young players.

Darko Milicic - PF - Yugoslavia - Would have to trade Walker to
move up to get him, and that's not likely (though I certainly endorse
the move).
I think he'll be a terrific player. Same goes for Lebron and Carmello
Anthony.

Jarvis Hayes - SF - Georgia - Scottie Pippenish and a deadly outside
shooter.
I highly recommend him and think he has a chance to be a star.

Pavel Podkolzen - C - Russia - The Siberian Bear, the massive
7-4, 300 pound Podkolzen, may be the
fastest rising International Prospect. Someone please tell Chad Ford.
Any ways, Podkolzen looks like Vitaly Potapeniko, but is obviously
bigger, and fortunately more athletic. Besides engulfing the middle, he

rebounds and blocks shots, though his offense needs mucho work.

Emeka Okafor - PF - Connecticut - An amalgamation of Rodman, Mourning, a

little Russell, etc. Tremendous rebounder and shot-blocker.

More on the way......
