RE: Walker ejection



I agree entirely that the refs are guilty of letting their egos get out of control.  What possible grounds could Nies have used for bouncing Toine in his postgame writeup?  "I didn't like what he said to his teammate about the other team"???  Ridiculous.

That said, Antoine needs to put an end to the constant conversation with the refs.  He ain't gonna win those arguments and will put himself, and his team, at risk of picking up additional penalties.  Already this season, he has been T'd up for talking to a teammate and looking at a ref and smiling.  Sooner or later, a player must accept the fact that he's a magnet and look to shut his yap, grab a rebound or a steal and leave the bickering to his coaches.

It's up to him to make the change in behavior, cuz the officials are being supported for the league for the most part.

My sentiments exactly. IMO he overstepped his authority big time. What
purpose did it serve?  Let the players involved sort it out for petes
sake. Just my thoughts and YMMV. Later.Mike
