ESPN is a television network, a Web site and a radio network, all places
where sports information can be reported.

Sometimes these enterprises collide with one another, as they did Thursday.

In a bizarre episode, ESPN TV denied what ESPN.com reported.

One part of ESPN generates a story and another part of ESPN shoots it down.

One part of ESPN, ESPN.com Insider, tells us Michael Jordan has reached an
agreement to buy the Milwaukee Bucks, was running the Bucks Thursday night
and had approval of the No. 8 pick in the National Basketball Association
draft.

Another part of ESPN, reporters David Aldridge and Jim Gray, tell us there
was no truth to any of three elements of the story.

So which ESPN are we to believe? Which one is right and which one is wrong?
They can't both be right.
