Comments On Boston Metro Ainge Article

"Critics have knocked the 6-foot-1, 180-pound Bell as being too small
for the NBA, but Ainge quickly dismissed that point.

I think thats hogwash, Ainge said of the criticisms that are dogging
Bell. Hes got a great body. Hes strong and hes tough. Everyone would
like a point guard thats 6-foot-6, but I would say Troy has prepared
himself for this time as well as anyone. He played as well as any point
guard in Chicago. "

(Evidently the Celtics like Bell, or they wouldn't have had two workouts
with him. But if they're drafting him, it will be after a trade down is
made.
Makes zero sense to take him at 20.)

Were preparing for anything, but theres so much garbage being spread
out there, so many things out there that arent true, Ainge said

(Could part of that garbage be a Marcus Banks guarantee at 20? Hope so
This year's draft is so tumultuous, so dynamic, you be foolish to offer
a guarantee.)

Not that I have any surprises as to how the job has gone thus far, but
it really is consuming, he said. I never have time to breathe. Theres
really not enough time in the day to get everything done. As a coach,
its the same way, and you have to rely on your assistants. And Ive got
some good assistants here.

(Wallace and Papile reborn.)
