No new agreement for Baker as of yet

epresentatives for the Celtics and for Vin Baker met in Chicago yesterday to
discuss the progress the center has made and his return to the team.


''There is no new agreement,'' said Celtics attorney Neil Jacobs. ''We're
working cooperatively with Vin's representatives to put in place the structure
that will assist Vin in continuing his successful transition back to the team
and back to playing for the team.''

Baker was suspended Feb. 27 to undergo treatment for alcohol abuse and other
medical issues.
