RE: Williams, Brown, McCarty expendable?..nah.

When did Kedrick learn how to shoot? This guy has shown zero at the Pro
level other than he can dunk nicely.

Not sure about that..it builds depth.

Now if Kedrick twists his ankle or forgets how to shoot we have an older
version of Kedrick ready to go. If your going to run its wise to stock up on
players like that. What is the point of a half-court, spot up shooting,
undersized,
off guard with Marcus Banks around? You want someone who can finish on the
break.

We could either have excess swingmen or excess undersized shooting guards. I
would rather have excess swingmen. We have enough guys that can play center
and PF as well.

A guy like Jones can play the 2, 3, or fake it at the 4 slot. Just like
McCarty can, and Kedrick probably could. That gives you alot of roster
flexibility i
n case someone is hurt. I love Kedrick, but this is a good move.

Right now :

We have a very flexible lineup and could absorb alot of injuries except to
the big three: Banks, Pierce and Walker.

Thing is someone will have to sit on the bench..and they aren't going to be
happy.
In addition two non-injured guys are going to be on the inactive list. Those
guys are going to be REALLY unhappy. In fact, I wouldn't be surpised if
Williams and McCarty end up on the inactive list! Jones does everything
Walter does
and better, and EWill belongs on a slow down half court team. Kedrick seems
much improved with a better looking stroke.

Its going to be quite a battle in preseason. Danny is doing a good job..
for
the first time in a while you get the idea that everyone on the roster can
play some. It's going to be quite a battle to stay off the inactive list for
some guys and a battle to make the 10 man rotation for other guys.

Once again Danny was pretty damn straightforward about things..I will point
out.
He said he wanted Jumaine Jones and we got him. I remember how he never
talked about Bremer so I knew early on he might be gone.

He also has said NOTHING about Eric Williams so he maybe traded. Though
contract wise there is incentive to keep him. I look for Williams and Walker
to
eventually be traded, though that might happen next year.

Danny is adding talent and boosting our depth. This is great for OB who will
need a ten man rotation to run effectively, IMHO. With any luck the days of
Pierce and Walker playing 43 minutes will be over.

Oh yeah the Celtics could make it to the finals with no real center. Look at
Jersey they made it with Collins getting the bulk of the minutes. He is
AWFUL.
I wouldn't trade anyone on our roster for him cept baker and that's only
cause of the contracts.
