OB...

That's basically true..
But those guys don't give us the best chance of winning. They only give us
the best chance of winning under OB's system.

Last year Obie's system just favored the game of certain guys. One thing
people REALLY understimate is how different systems favor different players by a
huge amount.

Bremer is a great example..
In the summer league they play an uptempo fast breaking nearly streetball
style. Well if you saw any of the games except perhaps the first one, its clear
that Bremer was JUST awful.

It boggles the mind that this guy was given minutes over Kedrick. Even Klack
was a far superiour player to Bremer not to mention guys like Banks, Kedrick
and Hunter. I am sorry there is just no way anyone can tell me that Bremer is a
better player then Kedrick or Hunter. It's all about the system.

A truly superior player can function under any kind of system, but your
average NBA guys needs to be put in a position to succeed by the coach.
Incidentally, That's why I am always so high on Battie. He has done great considering
that OB uses him terribly. Its crazy to have a center like Battie and let Walker
walk the ball up the court. Battie would be star on Jersey.

KVH while not a great player is a smart guy and he was talking about this..
Only John Calipari used him right.. Under the leadership of Scott and Brown
the guy has fallen off the map.

OB had better smarten up. If he uses his guys like you imagine, its a death
knell for his job.
