As much as the different lists try to separate the two vis a vis their skills and ability to play basketball both players have come to rely on each other in several different ways - not the least of which understanding that they are the holder's of the keys on this Celtics team. Absolute power corrupts absolutely they say and if you were given the breadth and depth of offensive control on an NBA team like these two have - would you ever want to break that up? Not likely, no matter what you say publicly.  The proof will be in the pudding if we see BOTH Walker and Pierce on the wings, with Banks zipping up the middle, neither star stopping at the arc, but rather cutting to the hole from the foul line extended for a layup instead of stopping at the arc for the trey OR EITHER of them demanding the ball after the rebound and going coast to coast themselves not matter who is beating them up the floor.
