Trading Walker And Baker Together Is Wrong!

I'm all for trading the Antichrist and dumping Baker's contract and the
ensuing
cap flexibility it entails.

But trading them together doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

A deal with those two doesn't distinguish Walker's trade value, it
extinguishes it.

Ainge now needs to wait, as he's already gambled and lost in trying to
find
a better deal for Toine than the one earlier offered by the Knicks.

I and many others could have lived with Kurt Thomas and Sweetney
(that's Seal of Approval player Micheal Sweetney by the way) being
the core of a Walker trade.

But that's been muted until December at least by Sweetney's recent
contract signing.

Now, it's best that Ainge unleash Vin Baker, so that one of the
following
will happen:

- Baker will rejuvenate his career and acquire trade value on
his own merit or free up Walker for a deal.

- Baker will be blaah and quickly imprisoned far down on the bench by
O'Brien,
causing Vinnie to call it a career, with either a buyout or a cap-free
retirement....
